Shawn Perry-Turned, Senior Associate

Shawn Perry-Turner brings more than 25 years of experience in industrial and business-to-business public relations and marketing communications to the firm. Her experience includes working with both domestic and international privately held firms in myriad industries—energy, engineering, electrical, manufacturing, water, accounting, construction and real estate. She has expertise in cooling tower and wastewater management technologies, construction and electrical materials such as fire stopping, lead and asbestos abatement, and resin and epoxy products, and the community association industry. Her portfolio includes articles published in key trade journals for these business segments.

 

Ms. Perry-Turner, who founded a consultant practice in New Jersey in 1988, is skilled in developing and implementing innovative, targeted marketing programs designed to achieve identified business goals. Early in her career she worked for Popular Science magazine, Research-Cottrell, Inc., Airco Industrial Gases (now Air Liquide), and Hamon Cooling Towers, Inc. Her New Jersey consulting practice clients included Kipcon Inc., Freshcreek Technologies, Inc., New Jersey Retail Merchants’ Association, and Dolph’s Inc.

 

Since moving to New Mexico in 1999, Ms. Perry-Turner, who maintained select New Jersey clients from her consulting practice for several years, has done project work for local area businesses. She also is a former on-air host for KHFM, Albuquerque’s classical music station and newsreader for KUNM, and now writes the “buzz” column for local flavor magazine. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J. Ms. Perry-Turner is the current president of Congregation Albert, Reform Synagogue in Albuquerque.
