Rorie Hanrahan, Associate

Ms. Hanrahan has broad experience in public relations, crisis communications, and marketing.  Her 17 years of experience include positions as governor’s press secretary, communications director for FEMA’s Office of Cerro Grande Fire Claims, director of university relations and recruitment for New Mexico Highlands University, and communications director for the New Mexico Economic Development Department. At Hirst Córdova, she’s worked with clients such as Dewey Square Group, The Singleton Group, and the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer.

 

She has coordinated large-scale media events, been the lead spokesperson for major emergencies that included coverage by local, national, and international media, developed comprehensive marketing and university recruitment plans, and generated positive coverage by media outlets such as the New York Times, New York Times Magazine, Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Associated Press International, Reuters, CNN, NMNBC, Fox News, Good Morning America, Dateline, NBC Nightly News, ABC World News Tonight, BBC, NPR, Daily Variety, Hollywood Reporter, W magazine, other trade publications, and local newspapers and television. In addition to her work at Hirst Córdova Public Relations, Rorie is a member of the Board of Trustees for the nationally recognized Santa Fe Rape Crisis Center.
